Sarah Paraskeva Scheidler . . .

Posted by Eric (June 1, 2007 at 7:17 pm)

Sarah Paraskeva Ultrasound. . . was born today at 12:15 p.m. after a long, slow labor that began late Tuesday evening. We’ve scarcely slept these last three days, and unfortunately all my photos of this beautiful little girl are trapped on my camera, for I write this from the library at Rush University across the street from the hospital. But here’s an ultrasound from last week as a teaser, and I’ll say more in a couple days when we’re back home and a bit more rested.

Congratulations! Children are always such a blessing. ^.^

By the way, I stopped by St. George a few weeks ago (for the Saturday night DL). I ran into some interesting characters to say the least. I’ll have to let you know when I stop back out that way.

I have been blessed to be able to completely second the statement “beautiful little girl”. She has wise eyes and a calm demeanor and smell so good I could barely stand it.

    Many congratulations~

Congratulations. There is nothing as amazing as those moments when your child rests quietly in your arms for the very first time; their quiet little noises, the smell of their head and their skin, the way their precious hand rests in yours. Enjoy them as much as you can because time zips by (but you already know this)…
