Producing WSJ-Style Hedcuts

Posted by Eric (July 31, 2007 at 5:00 pm)

Brejcha hedcutI’ve been working on a new design for the Thomas More Society website—this is the original Thomas More law firm that defended my father, Joe Scheidler in the landmark NOW v. Scheidler RICO suit.

It remains to be seen if I can meet my deadlines and actually see the new design published, but meanwhile I want to share a discovery.

For the TMS homepage I wanted to use a Wall Street Journal style “hedcut” of Tom Brejcha, the lead attorney at TMS—and the guy I’ve got on speed dial when I have to deal with police out on the street protesting abortion.

McWalBucks Update

Posted by Eric (December 12, 2006 at 9:01 am)

McWalBucksAfter a week, I find that my previous post on “McWalBucks” is now in the #2 spot at Google on a search for that term. Only mcwalbucks.com ranks above. Thanks for the links.

And thanks to the kind of semantically rich code that Google loves so much.

Now I’m finally writing my first entry. We’ll see if I ever find the time for a second.

Well, here it is February 6, almost exactly seven months later. In the meantime I’ve set up a couple of blogs for other people and gotten to know WordPress a whole lot better. Finally seemed to be time to work on this one again.

I hope it’ll be less than seven months before my next post…
