Insect Photos

Rob over at Cockeyed.com has posted some great high-res, close-up insect photos. I thought I’d post some of mine (click on a thumbnail for a high-res version).
The first of these was shot with a Canon Powershot S300. The others were shot with a Canon Digital Rebel XT. And yes, I know spiders aren’t insects. But they are bugs.
I really like the photos – especially the garden spider. Can I download that one? It’s so pretty.
I’ll get you linked from my place next housekeeping detail (Friday, probably). I find it very humerous who keeps my title as I wrote it, crazyacres, and who can not help correct it. I am not suprised you corrected it. I forgive you. BTW, I totally messed that up at vespers last night. I was SUPPOSED to say “If I have hurt you, forgive me.” I am so proud, and asking for forgiveness is so difficult for me, I said, “I forgive you.” Ugghh. Forgive me, please. I need Lent so badly!!

Feel free to download that photo.
Please do not speak about messing up at vespers! The first thing I did this morning was do practice the Great Prokimenon that I butchered last night. It’s so beautiful; shame we’ll have to wait a year to year it sung—one hopes—correctly.
As to link names: I guess I want to resist this trend towards always running words together in website titles. It’s a cool effect at times, but shouldn’t become the default. E.g., I call this site “Square Zero.”

[…] I was delighted recently to find an incoming link to Square Zero from the photography blog Benra in an article called “What’s Buggin’ You?”. The article included a link to my post, “Insect Photos”. I thought I’d share a few more of them. […]
